Training
All training is carried out in our company-owned award-winning City & Guilds and CITB-approved training and ACS Assessment centres. For gas-elec Safety Inspection franchisees, training is modular and we offer a free-of-charge assessment before you join the business to determine your level of skills and therefore the length of your training. This can be anything from three weeks for an ACS-qualified person to up to 17 weeks for, say, an air conditioning engineer.
Electrical franchisees come into the business fully qualified and experienced, so your training is just seven working days.
You leave our training centre with all the qualifications you need to become a successful gas-elec inspection engineer plus a full set of tools and test equipment and the laptop computer you will need for your business. You will also be provided with your gas-elec uniform and your vehicle (sourced by you) will be sign-written – everything you need to begin your business as a fully-qualified gas-elec franchisee.

As well as technical training, you will be taught how to run and promote your business in your local area.
Support
As a gas-elec engineer or electrician, you will join an established team in your local area run by a Regional Management franchisee whose task it is to provide you with most of your appointments by way of local and regional marketing, PR and advertising.
Your regional manager is supported by gas-elec head office staff who provide ongoing business support to all franchisees including national PR and marketing campaigns, centralised invoicing, credit control, debt collection, bookkeeping and IT support.
This releases our franchisees from much of the unproductive 'back office' admin usually associated with running a business - allowing our regional management franchisees more time to get the work and our engineers more time to do the work, resulting in more inspections and more income for everyone.
