In the heart of England gas-elec area 8 includes Birmingham, Burton On Trent, Derby, Erdington, Halesowen, Lichfield, Stafford, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Telford, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
It currently has 5 gas-elec engineers, but has the potential to grow to 10 or more engineers and 2 or more dedicated electricians.
The sales have nearly doubled in the last 3 years to in excess of £300k, carrying out mainly inspection work. ELECSA membership has allowed an engineer to be predominantly utilised for electrical work.
Growth has mainly been achieved by providing a professional service for clients and through the referrals that this has generated. The right candidate, with good marketing and more engineers could realistically grow the area sales to in excess of £1million.
