The inspectors are fully trained and certified Fire Safety Risk Assessors. They will look at your current fire precautions, identify any hazards, decide on any action that needs to be taken and produce a written assessment encompassing the following elements:

The Fire Risk Safety Assessor will check:
- The provision of fire fighting equipment including fire detectors and alarms
- The maintenance and testing procedures of fire equipment
- The correct signage is in place and that employees are aware of it and its meaning
- There is adequate training of personnel to implement the fire safety policy and fire fighting measures
- Adequate escape routes and exits are provided
- Record keeping in relation to risk assessments, maintenance, and fire safety log books
