BS: Boiler Service – for all homeowners and property professionals
CO: Carbon Monoxide – an invisible poisonous gas that cannot be smelt or tasted but which can cause injury or even death if it goes undetected. Sources can include poorly maintained/installed gas fires and cookers.
COD: Carbon Monoxide Detector provided by gas-elec
E1: Electrical Safety Inspection for landlords and letting agents
E2: Enhanced E1
FWSR: Fixed Wiring Short Report for all homeowners and property professionals
Fire/Smoke Alarm: Provided by gas-elec for enhanced safety in the home
G1: Gas safety inspection for landlords and letting agents
GB1: Gas safety inspection with boiler service for landlords and letting agents
GE1: Gas and Electrical safety inspection
HSR: Home Services Report for homeowners, home buyers & sellers
Home Safety Kit: Selected by gas-elec for its customers, the kit contains fire blanket, CO extinguisher and British Standard smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Just £60 including VAT.
LPP: Landlord Protection Plan – services inspection to protect landlords and their tenants
Online Bookings: gas-elec’s internet booking system for property professionals
Online Certificates: Gas and electrical safety certificates delivered by gas-elec via the email
PSPP: Property Services Protection Plan – like the LPP but for letting agents and care homes
PI: Periodic Electrical Inspection for all homeowners and property professionals
SI: Services Inspection for homeowners, home buyers & sellers
Technical Assessment: Carried out free of charge in gas-elec’s training centre to ascertain the skills level of engineers wishing to join the franchise network
