Domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required for all homes being put up for sale as part of the Home Information Pack (HIP). This EPC shows an energy rating of a property which indicates the energy efficiency of the home by taking into account how well insulated the property is, the heating and hot water system, fuels used, ventilation and the age of the property.
