For years people in rented properties have been protected from illness, injury and even death by legislation which requires landlords to have regular gas and electrical inspections carried out and safety certificates produced every year. Now your family can have that same protection.
A Home Services Report (HSR) is designed to provide a visual and functional check of all visible and easily accessible components of the electrical installation, the central heating system, the gas installation and appliances and the plumbing system (excluding those parts of the system concealed under floorboards and within the fabric of the building).
Full functional checks are carried out to the installations and a written 4-page Report is produced, identifying the individual components inspected in each installation. The Report concludes with any appropriate recommendations for attention on each installation.
Testing of the sockets in the electrical installation is included, along with a tightness test to the pipe work of the gas installation.
