As a homeowner we go out of our way to ensure that your family is safeguarded from problems that can occur with unsafe gas and electrical equipment. After all, you have specific requirements for your home: safety, energy saving and remedial work. And, we're here to help.
For years people in rented properties have been protected from illness, injury and even death by legislation which requires landlords to have regular gas and electrical inspections carried out with gas and electrical safety certificates produced every year. Now your family can have the same protection.
Safeguard your family and perhaps prevent a costly disaster by having a gas-elec group inspection designed specifically for owner-occupied homes carried out by one of our local specially-trained engineers.
A gas-elec group engineer can provide a visual and functional check of all visible and easily accessible components of the electrical installation, the central heating system, the gas installation and appliances and the plumbing system (excluding those parts of the system concealed under floorboards and within the fabric of the building).
Full functional gas and electrical checks are carried out to the installations and a written report is produced, identifying the individual components inspected in each gas and electrical installation. The report concludes with any appropriate recommendations for attention on each installation. Testing of the sockets in the electrical installation is included, along with a tightness test to the pipe work of the gas installation.
