Your inspection certificates are available elecctronically, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be provided with your own login details and password in order to download your fully-authenticated certificate(s) whenever you need them. And, we keep a record of all the certificates - so we do the filing for you.

Jane Dixon is a director of Acorn Properties, a busy property management company based in Jesmond, Tyne & Wear. It's a company that has embraced new technology with a will and Jane is delighted with gas-elec group's new online services, which have produced a rapid and dramatic drop in paperwork and freed up an enormous amount of staff time.
All Acorn's certificates are available instantly via the internet and the only post the company gets from gas-elec group is invoices. "We used to produce four copies of each certificate," says Jane, "but now we only download hard copies for tenants who want them. But more and more we are emailing certificates. Many of our landlords live overseas - China, Saudi Arabia and so on - and they're on email too. So instead of getting involved in expensive mailing costs and piles of paperwork we email everything."
One of the most important advantages of the new online services she says, is the we save time. "With property management you need to free up as much time as possible so you can deal with the important things and look after your customers. Not having to shove paper from A to B saves an enormous amount of time. Plus an online system is so accessible; people don't have to keep getting up and going to look in the files."
The gas-elec group already emails every month advance warning of inspections, which Acorn crosschecks with their own reminder system. The new e-booking system will make this even more convenient.
Another advantage has been in property maintenance. "The gas-elec group certificates are so detailed and clear we use them for instructing our maintenance contractors. We don't bother going to the file and looking up the inventory; we just call up the certificate on the gas-elec group website."
