Training and Support
gas-elec knows the importance of ensuring our franchisees are trained to the best of standards. We make sure our franchisees are well equipped in all areas of service and business by our dedicated in-house trainers.
All training is carried out in our company-owned award-winning City & Guilds and CITB-approved training and ACS assessment centre. For gas-elec group safety inspection franchisees, training is modular and we offer a free-of-charge assessment before you join the business to determine your level of skills and therefore the length of your training.
Both gas and electrical franchisees come into the business fully qualified and experienced, so your training will only need to last approximately two weeks. All new franchisees will spend time with existing franchisees in the field, gaining vital experience so that they're well prepared for starting their business on completion of training. As well as technical training, you will be taught how to run and promote your business locally.
You leave our training centre with all the extra qualifications you need to become a successful gas-elec group inspection engineer. You will also be provided with a liveried van, full set of tools, test equipment, a laptop computer and your gas-elec group uniform. In other words, everything you need to begin your business as a fully-qualified gas-elec group franchisee.
On-going Support
gas-elec realise how vital it is for our franchisees to have the right support as they progress with their business. We maximise this support with a bespoke computerised system, meaning our franchisees do not have to spend time on messy paperwork or accounts, resulting in more time with customers. Just print the daily booking sheet and off you go!
Extra support in sales, marketing and IT is offered by the gas-elec Head Office. Plus, our excellent relationships with letting agents and property managers ensures a constant supply of work, boosted by the market's dependence on regular, annual inspections.
