gas-elec Safety Systems was launched in 1996 by Directors who, between them, have 60 years’ experience in building services and training, mostly relating to electrical and gas engineering, contracting and maintenance.
gas-elec’s original premise was simple but truly pioneering – to ensure that landlords and property managers complied with new and increasingly stringent gas and electrical safety legislation by offering one specially-trained engineer to carry out multiple inspections in one visit and provide one comprehensive report.
Today, gas-elec carries out more than 100,000 inspections annually in homes throughout the UK via a franchise network of Managers and Safety Inspection Engineers working locally out of 18 regional offices.
The Company has expanded its products and services to include the homeowner, home buyer and home seller markets, whilst remaining a leading provider of safety inspections and repairs in the lettings market.
Because our service has always been impartial, gas-elec is a company trusted by its clients, many of whom are responsible for hundreds of properties. Our principal aim is to ensure homes are safe rather than provide, for example, boiler replacement. Your gas-elec engineer will tell it like it is!
