An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Gas-elec group network, with the availability to purchase the first regional sales franchise to come on to the market in over 10 years and to be inducted in to the Gas-elec group family of franchisees. Gas-elec are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial and hard working franchisee to help them build and develop the Gas-elec brand and business in Scotland.

The Gas-elec Group has been the front runner of gas and electrical safety inspections within the private rental market since 1996.  Pioneers of the ‘One stop Shop’ for gas and electrical safety, Gas –elec group introduced the multi qualified engineer concept which allowed them to carry out both gas and electrical inspections in one visit, creating a unique product for their clients in the letting industry.

Today Gas–elec group has evolved into a nationwide services business, servicing the 5 million + property private rental industry, offering a wider product range which includes Gas and Electrical safety inspections, EPC’s, MEES, Legionella reports, Home buyers reports, 24/7 callout services and boiler cover.

Franchise Opportunity

Gas-elec Group has a two tiered franchise model, which includes a regional sales franchise responsible for growing the local area business with the sales and marketing and the engineering franchise for gas and electrical engineers who deliver of the inspections.

The gas-elec franchise is a turnkey operation, supporting its franchisees with a strong brand and years of experience in their market place. The successful franchisee will receive full sales and marketing support with our tried and tested services, complete backup and accounting with our state of the art I.T. systems and best practice business model and above all the exciting opportunity to model and grow the Gas-elec business in Scotland.

The Regional Management Franchise

The role of the Regional Sales Franchisee:

  • Promoting the Gas-Elec brand within Scotland
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Working with senior management to mould the future for Gas-elec Group (Scotland)
  • Exploring and expanding NEW business opportunities
  • Working with engineers to deliver best practice and grow the GE business.

Your target customers are primarily:

  • Lettings Agents
  • Landlords
  • Managing Agents
  • Private property rental companies
  • Estate Agents
  • Home Owners
  • Home Buyers

The Sales Process

Work from a local office


Build up leads

(Taking enquiries, sending out literature, telemarketing, maintaining databases, visiting potential clients)


Win contract

(Negotiating client contracts, which should grow in size and number)


Ongoing Account management and business development


Liase with the central Customer Services team to deliver the GE service

Initial Investment

Franchise fee: £45,000 – The Scotland regions available have an existing volume of business, but require further development.

This includes access to the proven Gas –elec franchise system, the franchise licence and trademark in your allocated region, territory rights, gas elec franchise training and induction, ongoing support and advice, Gas-elec I.T. systems and start-up package.
